Before founding Duo Partners together, Tod and Karyn led The NPD Group, the world’s eighth-largest market research firm. In December 2021, NPD was sold to Hellman & Friedman. In August 2022, NPD and IRI merged to create the technology, data, and analytics company that would later rebrand as Circana. Tod and Karyn are board members, in addition to their roles as investors and consultants at Duo Partners.
